The Intermediate Video Ukulele Course

This video-only course picks up right where my beginner course ends. It's perfect for players who can play C, Am, F and G fluently and are comfortable with one or two strumming patterns.

In this course you will learn:

  • a variety of more challenging chords including E7, Em and Bb.

  • how to play more songs including: Yellow, Have you Ever Seen the Rain, Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay, Riptide, Wish You Were Here, I Knew You Were Trouble, Wrecking Ball and Count on Me.

  • how to improve your strumming using new techniques like thumb picking and palm muting.

  • how to read ukulele tablature

$110 USD for the entire six-week course!

Is the intermediate course right for me?

If you have completed my beginner course and are hungry for more uketastic skills, this course is for you.

If you have never worked with me, but can confidently change between C, Am, F and G and strum a few songs, this course is for you.

If you are new to the instrument or haven't played in many years, click on over to the beginner course.

Will I need to know how to read music?

You will not be reading music in this course.  You will be reading chord diagrams and strumming patterns.  You will also learn how to read tablature, which will be an optional add-on skill in this course.

In addition to teaching ukulele to learners of all ages, I have taught thousands of kids to play ukulele and vocal music as an elementary school music teacher for the Toronto District School Board.  I play guitar, ukulele, bass guitar and piano and lead large adult and youth pop choirs.  I believe that everyone can be a musician and I think music should be fun and non-competitive.
